Website

I have a passion for mental health and wellbeing.  I am currently running my own private practice – Forrest Talking Therapies – whilst also working as a Senior Lecturer in CBT at the University of Chester.

I started my career as a person-centred counsellor and have spent the last 13 years mainly working as a cognitive-behavioural therapist.  I love working with CFT as this gives me a bridge between the counselling and cognitive behavioural approaches as well as focusing on growth rather than ‘disorder’.

I regularly apply CFT to my own day to day life and have seen it make a meaningful difference to many people I have worked with in my clinic.
