My background is as a Mental Health Nurse, I undertook subsequent training in CBT in 2000. I became interested in working using a Compassion Focussed therapy approach during my CBT training after attending a workshop on shame. I undertook more training and subsequent supervision to develop this practice, including workshops on anger, eating issues, trauma, supervision as well as advanced and experiential training. I have over thirty years’ experience of helping people experiencing mental health difficulties.
