I have 12 years full-time, post-qualification experience with two Universities and working privately.  My employment for the last 8 years has been with the University of Cambridge Counselling Service. I also work for the NHS providing clinical supervision to senior nursing staff.

I use a Compassion Focussed approach and draw on my psychodynamic training and experience. I use specific CFT methods if I think this will be helpful. I work short and long term with individuals. I also see couples. For several years, I have run Self-Compassion Workshops to groups of students as part of my work at Cambridge University.

I typically see people once a week. I also offer more or less frequent sessions, depending on what the person would like and what is likely to be most helpful.  I work close to the centre of Cambridge. I provide a calm and containing space to help the person work through any issue they want to bring to therapy.
