Av. Cel. Lucas de Oliveira, 505 sala 304 Porto Alegre – RS - Brasil CEP 90450-045

I am a psychiatrist with 22 years of clinical practice. I have been interested in psychotherapeutic care since my medical residency period, and I did my first training as a psychotherapist in psychodynamic therapy, between 2002 and 2005. Between 2009 and 2011, I took a Master’s degree in Health Sciences, studying a population of women with fibromyalgia, and I discovered the Mindfulness-based interventions. In 2014 I started training as a mindfulness teacher, which led me to study mindfulness-based psychotherapies, having completed training in DBT in 2016. Between 2013 and 2017 I did a PhD in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, studying the impact of an 8-week mindfulness program on healthcare professionals. In 2019 I attended the introductory workshop on CFT with prof. Paul Gilbert, which led me to enter the Diploma in CFT in 2022, now completed in 2023.

I currently see patients in individual psychotherapy within CFT and DBT approaches in a private practice, and I lead 8-week mindfulness groups within Breathworks protocols.

I had contact with CFT in 2019 in a 3-day workshop with prof. Paul Gilbert, which motivated me to start studying theory and techniques. Between 2022 and 2023 I completed the Diploma in CFT, with curricular supervision, and I am part of a collective supervision group with prof. Paul Gilbert for students from Brazil, Argentina, and Chile. I also belong to a study group formed during the Diploma with the purpose of continuing to study CFT and discuss clinical cases.
