Overview
Having retired from NHS in 2018, I continue to have a small private caseload. particularly working with
referrals from StopSO (Specialist Treatment Organisation for the Perpetrators and Victims of Sexual Offending) and as a volunteer with First Steps ED, an eating disorder charity.
I work with sex offenders, their partners and their victims, many of whom for different reasons may suffer shame based difficulties, as do many people who have problems with disordered eating and body image. For this, compassionate mind treatment is especially helpful.
I also have an interest in working with complex trauma, personality disorders and P-OCD, again finding high incidence of shame in patients.
I work online or by phone only, platform flexible.
I am a member of the forensic and eating disorder Special Interest Groups of the Compassionate Mind Foundation. I recently became a Trustee of the CM Foundation.
