Jodie Wassner is an educational and developmental psychologist with over 20 years experience counselling young people and their families. She divides her professional time equally between clinic work with young people and educational training for psychologists and other health professionals, including supervision for psychologists and provisional psychologists.
In addition to supervision and workshops, Jodie runs a successful private practice in Sydney where she works predominantly with ASD, anxiety and ADHD. Her two professional passions are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with a strong compassion approach, and autism spectrum conditions. She has presented her work internationally and has successfully helped dozens of families in her clinic to navigate the challenges of ASD. Jodie has co-written a ten-session ACT manual for therapists working with anxious children.
Jodie is President of the International ACT and Autism ACBS group and Fellow of the APS College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists.
