Overview
I am a Compassion-Focused Psychotherapist, an accredited Schema Therapist and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, and Voice Dialogue facilitator. I am the co-founder of Chairwork (chairwork.co.uk) with Matthew Pugh and a co-author of the book ‘Compassion Focused Therapy from the Inside Out’. I regularly provides national and international training on compassion and chairwork and am actively involved in ongoing research in these areas. I am an honorary lecturer at the University of Manchester and a senior fellow with Advance Higher Education.

I have been practicing as a CFT therapist for around fifteen years, working with individuals and groups. I am an official trainer and supervisor for the Compassionate Mind Foundation and have received CFT supervision from Prof. Paul Gilbert. I have attended a total of over 50 days training in CFT as well as attending the annual CFT conference. I have also completed a two year post-graduate certificate in Mindfulness at Bangor University.
