I work with individuals age 18+ to help them to develop a compassionate understanding of themselves and what they might be struggling with. Through learning skills and practising self compassion in therapy people  learn to support themselves throughout the ups and downs of life. As a Clinical Psychologist with over ten years of experience I have witnessed many people learn not only to overcome their difficulties but to learn how to thrive. I have found that personal practice has been essential to understanding the benefits of compassion and mindfulness.

I co-ordinate a clinicians supervision group for those with a similar interest in CFT in the north east of England.

I have a special interest in applying CFT within EMDR and those with a history of trauma.
