My business and my passion – ‘Compassionate Therapy Services’ – offers Compassion Focused Therapy and Occupational Therapy (OT).

Compassion Focused Therapy facilitates sustainable recovery for individuals with mental health difficulties, emotional burn-out, issues with guilt or shame and/or psychological distress. It can also facilitate personal/professional development.

Mental Health Occupational Therapy helps with return to work issues, finding work/ a career and finding fulfillment from everyday activities. It can help with the management of long-term conditions as well as in the early stages of illness by helping with pacing, analysis of activities and creating a positive mindset.

I also offer a Compassionate Mind Course to groups and individuals. Courses of 8 sessions of guided discovery to enable our compassionate minds to grow and flourish. Useful for carers, health professionals, people with long term health conditions and those providing support to others in voluntary organisations.

A half day Compassionate Mind Workshop is available – useful for trying out some of the mindfulness and imagery exercises and learning about the neuroscience, research and psychology behind the Compassionate Mind approach.

My aim is to be a ‘travel companion’ to clients rather than a ‘travel agent’ on a journey of discovery, in an environment of warmth, compassion and understanding.
