I am a clinical psychologist in Santa Barbara, CA where I provide therapy, consultation and workshops. My goal is to help clients live more meaningful, vital, connected and fulfilling lives. I am dedicated to providing effective, evidence-based therapies in an accepting and compassionate environment. I take a holistic approach drawing from my rigorous background in the science of behavior and my training in cognitive behavioral, mindfulness-based, and contextual behavioral therapies. I draw heavily from my training and experience in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.

I have been studying contextual science and ACT for the past 10 years. In the past few years, I have undertaken personal study through reading and online trainings in compassion-based interventions in therapy. In April 2018 I attended the Compassionate Mind Retreat and Summit in NY led by Dr. Paul Gilbert.
